Susan Goldberg, MEd, RD is a Registered Dietitian and part of the management team at Copernicus Lodge, in Toronto, Ontario. Susan completed her undergraduate in Family and Consumer Studies from the University of Guelph, a Dietetic Internship from the Hospital for Sick Children, and a Master’s of Education from the University of Cincinnati. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of settings, including Diabetes Education, Renal dialysis, and lecturing to undergrad nutrition students. Susan is also teaching in the IDPP program at Ryerson University. She has been working in Long-term care for close to 7 years.
Halina Jaros, NM is a Food Service Manager, and part of the senior management team, at Copernicus Lodge in Toronto, Ontario, a Polish LTC home. Halina completed her education in Poland. In Canada, she completed the Food Service Supervisor’s program at the Canadian Hospital Association. She has been working in LTC for over 25 years.
