RESPONSIBILITY

The incumbent is responsible for:

·    --   Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and ensuring that work area are maintain in safe and sanitary condition.

·      -  Must be knowledgeable of occupational Health and safety Standards and operational policy and procedures manual related to safety and        job functions.

-  Reports to Food Service Supervisor but may function under the direction of the Cook.

·        Attend   in –service education, staff meetings, workshop, etc.  As directed by the Dietary supervisor

QUALIFICATION

·        -   Have successfully completed  or are enrolled in a Food Service Worker training program.

·       -    Must have  Food Handler Certificate obtain from Toronto Public Health.
