President's Message - Happy Spring!

Date: Summer 2018
Message From: Eric Evers , CFE, CNM
President
CSNM

Summer has officially begun and is here. The days are long and the sun is warm. Across the country, everybody is trying to maximize time on the lake, beach and golf course — or wherever they individually disconnect and refuel.

This will be my last President’s Message, as my term as your president will have come to an end during at our June annual general meeting at our CSNM National Conference in Moncton, New Brunswick by the time you read this.

In fact, by the time this summer edition of our magazine is in your hands, Chris Weber will be in the saddle as your new president and will be driving full-steam ahead!

I would like to take a moment to personally thank you for the trust you invested in me and for allowing me to be your president over the last year. It has been a fantastic year, and I was very blessed to work with an exceptional group of people — your CSNM Board of Directors.

Collectively, a lot of rocks have been turned over; fires have been started and put out; projects have been completed and successes have been accomplished. All this was achieved through the “implementing like hell” of our strategic plan, and I am extremely pleased to share that the all actions of the plan have been completed! Your board has worked tirelessly and invested countless hours to make CSNM a better society for all stakeholders involved.

I am looking forward to watching the flywheel of change and improvement continue to spin under the leadership of Chris and Dave Lebert in the years to come.

For those of you who attended our conference, I certainly hope that you enjoyed yourself and were able to extract value to better yourself and to contribute on a different level to your organization.

Now it’s time for me to dig out my Speedo, hop in my boat and drive into the sunset…

Always be yourself — and thank you again for allowing me to be your 2017-2018 president. It was a rich and rewarding experience.

Yours,

Eric Evers, CFE, CNM
