1.       Revising Canada's Food Guide

2.       Strengthening nutrition and ingredient labelling, including sugars and food colours

3.       Reducing sodium in foods

4.       Eliminating industrially produced trans fat  

5.       Restricting marketing to children 

6.       Nutrition North Canada

A consultation is occurring through an online survey until December 8, 2016.  http://www.foodguideconsultation.ca/  

Input received will be used to develop new dietary guidance tools that better meet the needs of different audiences.
