Amanda BealesAmanda Beales, MAN, RD, CDE
Amanda has worked with the elderly as a Registered Dietitian within various clinical settings in both Canada and England.   She was first exposed to and intrigued by dementia care through a high school volunteer position at a local nursing home, where she assisted with recreation activities. Part of her current role includes inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry, where her patients challenge her to re-think the way she practices and look at things through a different lens. Amanda is also the Gerontology Network's newsletter editor, a position she's held for nearly five years.


Dale MayersonDale Mayerson, RD, CDE

Dale Mayerson is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator who has been providing food and nutrition education for seniors for over 30 years. She has spent her career as a food service supervisor, manager and dietitian and currently works as Education/CQI Coordinator at Copernicus Lodge in Toronto. Dale also teaches nutrition at George Brown College. As a volunteer, she is co-chair of the Dietitians of Canada Ontario Long Term Care Action Group and is a member of CSNM, OSNM, Dietitians of Canada and the US Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
